This game was played in excellent conditions at St. Mellans on Sunday evening June 19th. Reserve Football seldom attracts big crowds and this one was no different, though Truagh had its loyal band of supporters there and a few true blues for the Harps, whihc was a pity as it was a cracker of a game with great commitment and determination from both sides. As they say - ‘no quarter was given’ or expected. Truagh was leading by two points at the interval but the Harps took over at the beginning of the second half and established a good cushion. However a couple of positional changes and substitutions gave Truagh new energy and they were in control towards the end and finished with a 2 - 9 to 1 - 8 scoreline to take the honours.
