St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Monaghan Town. 2010.

St. Patrick’s Day was celebrated as usual in Monaghan town with a Parade. The weather was dry and mild in comparison to recent times and there was an increase in the number of participating groups. A big crowd turned out and enjoyed a colourful and lively Parade. We thought that some of our emigrants abroad might like to sample a flavour of the day in Monaghan and indeed some at home will recognise themselves or their neighbours. Hope you enjoy.
