Tractor Run raises money for Charity.

On Saturday, April 10th, and the hottest day of the year 2010 so far, a big number of Tractor owners participated in a Charity Run which was organised by the Aughnacloy Cross-Border Cross-Community Vintage Tractor Club. Radio and entertainment Star, Hugo Duncan, was there and added to the merriment and prestige of the occasion. In glorious sunshine the cavalcade moved off from Aughnacloy and headed for the Ancestral Home of President Grant, where there was the customary break for refreshments and a chat before heading back to base. The tractors were gleaming in the sunshine which indicated the effort and time put in by the owners to have their vehicles looking their best, even after so many years of work and assistance on the farm and elsewhere - that is all with the exception of one little Ferguson, which was brown in colour instead of its traditional grey. The owner will donate many hours, lovingly restoring it to its former glory. Proceeds of the day will be donated to a nominated charity and we will bring you details as soon as they come to hand.
