Emy Angling News.
On Wednesday night last, Jan 27th, Emy and District Anglers held a Fly-tying class in Ahead IT in Emyvale Enterprise Centre. It was terrific to se the young-to-be anglers and how quickly they picked up the basic skills in fly-tying. There was a very good turn out of adults too who were on hand to give one-to-one tuition to the young members. The young students would be keen to get further instructions and the club will consider the follow-up. Well done to Martin McKenna, who grabbed their attention with his excellent demonstration at the start of the session. As a matter of fact some of the adults gained knowledge from the demonstration too. Also thanks to Dick and Margaret for a very comfortable venue. We will let you know the next step when the club makes the decision.
Martin is being watched with keen interest.
Concentration.
Helping hand.

Round and Round.
Another fly on the way while Enda and Joe discuss ‘feathers’.
This is ‘cool’ and not as hard as I thought.
Look what I produced !!
The end result.
