Time flies, as we all know, and a yearly event is no sooner over and done with when planning has to start all over again. When it is the Tydavnet Show then there is little time between the end of one and the new beginning as the members of the committee will tell you. The AGM of the committee was held in the Tydavnet Community Centre last week, pictured above and the work begins. Tydavnet has grown in size over the years with plenty for everyone to enjoy on the day but that also increases the amount of planning, arranging, and then manning the event. A huge band of workers is needed to get the location set up and all safety precautions installed. On the day an even larger group of volunteers is required to take charge of all the stalls, competitions, Judges, tents, parking, safety arrangements, food and hospitality, amplification and announcers and many other requirements that few see or are aware of but none of this will happen without the work of so many terrific volunteers led by a very enthusiastic and committed Committee who are willing to give of so much time, energy. enthusiasm and expertise for months prior to, during and after the event. We wish them well for 2023 and hopefully, with the prayers of all who are interested, that the day of the Show, the days leading up to it and the few days afterwards will be real good summer days for us all to enjoy what is always a spectacular, enjoyable, interesting and fantastic day out for all who attend.
