Truwood Ltd renews sponsorship of St. Mellans Handball Club. St Mellans Handball club have released a full new team kit range consisting of two jerseys that will be available for the next four seasons. Available for all players, underage to seniors, the new jerseys will be on sale from Monday (09.10.23). Attending the launch of the new kits were main sponsors Truwood Ltd. St. Mellans Chairman, Brendan Keenan said, “I want to thank Emmet McKenna and all the team in Truwood Ltd. for their continued support as main sponsor. Truwood Ltd have been our main club sponsor for over 30 years so we’re delighted that our partnership will continue. Truwood Ltd.’s support of St. Mellans Handball club has been instrumental in our growth over the decades. We look forward to working with Truwood Ltd again over the coming seasons, particularly next season when we’ll be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the club’s formation in 1974” Emmet McKenna, Truwood Ltd Managing Director, commented, “We are delighted to be entering our 35th season supporting St. Mellans Handball Club. We take great pride in working and supporting our local community. “St. Mellans Handball club is an amazing outlet of sport and recreation for people of all ages and it’s a local club we’re delighted to support. We would like to wish all their players and coaches well in the coming seasons and in particular their 50th Anniversary next season.” St. Mellans Handball Club have been going from strength to strength in recent years as one of the largest GAA Handball clubs in Ireland with over 100 playing members spanning ages 7 to 70. Entering the new season St. Mellans will be aiming to replicate last year’s successes on the court which included 5 Ulster Titles and 11 County titles.
