Juvenile Presentations 2017

The Juvenile Presentations took place in Corracrin School Hall on Saturday, February 17th at 7.00pm Darren Hughes was the guest of honour and it was he who presented the medals to the winning teams. At the end he addressed the gathering which had a great turn-out of parents and family members and he encouraged the parents to maintain an interest in their childrens progress at sport and to encourage them as much as possible. Darren and the coaches thanked the parents for their great support during 2017 and hoped that it would continue in 2018. All the players were congratulated and Darren told them that continuous practice and eagerness to improve are vital to achieve potential in Gaelic football or any sport. Refreshments were then served to all. Chairman of the Juvenile Club, Martin O'Brien, thanked all for their presence and for their participation during the past year. He had special words of praise and appreciation for the coaches who give of their time, energy and expertise to bring out the best in the players. Our photos show some of the players pictured with Darren Hughes and also a group of juveniles.
