To unveil the All-Ireland winning plaque in Tidy Towns, which Glaslough won. Minister John Wilson, Cavan, came to do the honours and there were many presentations that day in Glaslough. We have some of the pictures of that occasion and President Higgins would likely have done the honours last year were it not for Covid. However he will still come to Glaslough, I’m sure, when Covid allows. Indeed looking through these images it is sad to see so many great people, who have gone to their eternal rewards and are now enjoying the company of God.
