Glaslough 1979: 2020 should have seen the President of Ireland in Glaslough for the National Tidy Towns Awards but we are
told that one way or another he will visit Glaslough at the earliest opportunity and we look forward to that. However in the
meantime I have a selection of photos I took during the 1979 Tidy Towns presentations hosted by Glaslough in great style and
pomp and ceremony. Unfortunately there are a number who have gone to their eternal reward and it is nice to remember them and
their contribution to the Tidy Towns efforts and the community spirit of those days. The images are in no particular order and Prints
of any of the images can be purchased.
