Week 3 for all those taking part in Operation Glasformation kicked off on Sunday
4th February at Emy Lake. The numbers may have been small but the spirits were high.
Micheal put us all through our paces on what was a lovely spring morning. We were
then treated to a healthy fry up by Martina afterwards.
Monday night we were back in the Oakland Centre for our jiving class with Declan
and his jiving partner Sarah. We are all learning different moves every Monday night
and will be ready to show them off at our party on the 4th March.
Tuesday night was cold and slippy so we stayed around the entrance to Castle Leslie
for our interval training. Again Micheal and Gavin put us through our paces and there
was a serious effort put in by everyone.
On Wednesday night Adam took us for our weekly circuit class. There was no sign of
the famous Sally but it was still a tough and intense class.
Thursday night and we were back on the road for our 5K training. A heavy shower at
the start didn’t dampen the spirits as everyone headed out of Glaslough towards Donagh
Row and the five points.
Friday night was the class we all look forward to after a tough week. Marina had
the hall warmed for us before helping us to loosen out the aches and pains after
a tough week.
Looking forward to week 4 starting on Sunday at Emy Lake. Thanks to my photographers
Julie, Catriona & Aisling for keeping me up to date this week.
