Francie is 70

Francie Hand had a special birthday recently when he arrived at the great age of 70. As a very active service user in Errigal Truagh Special Needs Centre there was going to be a party and he requested that it be held in the New Centre. All his friends from neighbouring groups and from Errigal Truagh arrived to join his party and he was delighted when relatives from England arrived to celebrate with him.But that was not the end of the surprises as one of his great idols, Big Tom, arrived and presented him with a DVD which made Francie's eyes up with delight and he expressed his thanks with a big hug. Rose was with Big Tom and Francie presented her with a bouquet of flowers and he presented Big Tom with a Ceramic Picture produced by the user in Errigal Truagh Centre. Tom and Rose were given a tour of the New Centre and were extremely impressed by it and congratulated everyone involved in the provision of the centre and the services. Food was supplied by the Catering Staff of Blackwater Centre ad John supplied the music for dancing and the party got underway. Congratulations to Francie and we wish him many many more years of health and happiness.
