Clara NS Nativity:
Its that time of year when children get caught up in the story of Christmas and and it is a time of bright colours and lights. It is also a time when children can display their various talents in the form of Christmas pictures and Christmas Art, a time of creative crafts when all sorts of decorations can be made from all sorts of materials, a time for children to perform on stage whether that be on a local stage in pantomine or in the school for the Nativity play and the Christmas Concert. All of these opportunities were used by the children in Clara National School and last week they opened it all for the enjoyment of parents, siblings, grandparents and others who attended. It was fantastic entertainment and very enjoyable to watch young children sing, dance, play music and recite many of them dressed for the occasion and surrounded by colourful school made pictures, ornaments and produce suitable as Christmas presents. The range of talents that these young people have developed and displayed there was wonderful to witness and a big congratulations must go to them, their teachers including Marina, and the parents. Fr. Flanagan was present and commented on the talents displayed and blessed all involved.
