Cyclists Honoured: On Wednesday August 8th Emyvale Cycling Club honoured the achievements of two of its members with
a reception at the Spin Doctor centre on the Mill Road. There was a great turn-out of club members, family members and friends to
give a warm reception to the arrival of Lorraine Mullarkey and Micheál Flood, who were unaware of what was planned.
Congratulations were extended to Micheál who finished 2nd in the 555km event in Donegal in a time of 21 hours 41miniutes and to
Lorraine who won the 333km Ladies event in 11 hours 49 minutes. They are to congratulated for these fantastic achievements and
the show of support was well deserved. Well done to all concerned.
