Northern Sound Publicise Tydavnet Show.

The Joe Finnegan Show on Northern Sound radio was broadcast live from the HQ of Scotstown GFC on Wednesday, August 17th. There was plenty of fun and plenty of socialising during the programme and Joe interviewed members of the Show committee, who gave him all the details of the show which will be on in Drumshevera on Sat, August 20th. He also interviewed Margaret McQuillan who first displayed her homegrown vegetables at the show in 1950 and will be doing so again this year. She told Joe that she has them all ready for display. Maggie is 91 years young.
There is a terrific programme of events and it promises to be a very exciting and enjoyable day for all the family. It is a special show as they are celebrating the 60th show and I hear that some special people will be in attendance. Yes - Drumshevera is the place to be this Saturday and I hope to see you there as I will be assisting Murphy Video Services in recording the event for posterity and I would like you to be seen there in years to come.

Above Brendan gives a demonstration of grooming cattle watched by two young Sherlocks, while
on left we have two birthday girls - Annette O’Donaghue and Patricia Hughes. No one told me what age they are but they both look great and had ‘Happy Birthday’ sung by an impromptu choir, led by Joe, on the concourse of the Scotstown Complex and aired for the nation to hear. However I am reliably informed that the mother of one of them missed it and had to sit up after midnight to hear it during the replay.
