Death of Texas Rose

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adrienne Hussey, former Texas Rose of Tralee. Adrienne, from Texas, participated in the Rose of Tralee competition representing Texas. During that time she fell in love with an Escort - Eoin Treanor, Mullanderg. Finishing her studies in the University of Texas she moved to Dublin where Eoin is. She took suddenly ill and was rushed to hospital but unfortunately there was nothing could be done and she passed away on Thursday evening January 19th. Funeral arrangements have not been completed yet but we will bring them to you as soon as they are finalised. In the meantime her remains are reposing in Eoin’s house in Mullinderg.

We offer our deepest sympathy to Eoin on his terrible loss. We have heard how she enjoyed coming to Monaghan with Eoin and that she made friends very easily because of her lovely personality. We also offer our sympathies to her parents and other family members, who are devastated by the sudden passing of their lovely Adrienne.
