Taste of Truagh 2011

On Thursday, October 20th there was an opportunity for people to demonstrate and display their talents to the public. It took place in the Blackwater Learning Centre at Ballyoisin when all those with arts and crafts were invited to put on an exhibition of their work and the public was invited to come along to view the displays between 7pm and 10pm. I arrived there at 7 and the place was buzzing with people pouring in and the fantastic number of stands laid out. Everyone’s eyes showed surprise that there were so many talented people in the area turning out so many diverse products. Indeed it would have taken the three hours to go from stand to stand and examine and appreciate the items on display. Well done to the organisers and to all those who put their produce on display. Our photos are not complete as there were other stands which we did not get details but we show you a taste of Truagh as on display.
