Senior Championship Truagh V Harps.

Truagh and Monaghan Harps met in the Senior Championship in Emyvale on Saturday, June 10th. This was a tough game with no quarter given. Frustration set in and in the second half a skirmish erupted but soon melted. Turagh were the better team in the first half but were gradually being forced into errors and were physically dominated. An early goal gave the Harps renewed impetus and they gained in confidence. In the second half the Harps mid-field took control and Truagh seemed to have no answer. They had chances but failed to put them away and register on the scoreboard. In the end the better team on the night won. Final score Monaghan Harps 1 - 12 to Truagh’s 0 - 10.
