Poker Night

The Scarna Inn was the setting for a big Poker Night on Friday October 21st. The Lounge turned into a real Casino room with the green baize adding that realistic touch. Chips, and not the spud type, were available and the dealing went on to find a winner - the one with the most chips I guess. It seemed to be enjoyable but not being a card player I found it difficult to distinguish between a poker face and the bluffer’s face and anyhow - to show signs of enjoyment might give the wrong signals to opponents. The main thing was that plenty of chips were purchased as the proceeds were going to Olive’s Dancing fund.
