Pig Racing for Charity

Gabriel McAree is hoping to make another trip with the Niall Mellon Township Trust and to do so he has to raise a certain amount of funding. On Sunday, July 22nd he organised an event in Emyvale and all proceeds will go towards that fund. It was a great day for the family and a big crowd turned out to enjoy the activity and the blink of good weather that we had. There was something for all age groups with the Pig Racing as the central item on the programme. This provided plenty of entertainment and a great response from the betters. It was a very successful day for Gabriel but he is quick to point out that he could not have done it without the assistance of a huge number of people. He expresses his thanks to his family and extended family, to all the workers in so many different ways, to all the sponsors who were terrific, to the Red Boy and his staff and to Eamonn and  Monica McKernan, to Rula Bula and Beetroot, to MC Ciaran Treanor, to all who attended on the day, to all who participated and increased the finances of the fund, and anyone else who helped make it a success.
