All-weather Pitch Opening at Carrickroe.
The driest being in Scotstown last Saturday for the Tydavnet Show with her
handler, Stephen McQuillan, representing Macra na Feirme. Due to atrocious
weather, all outdoor activity, which meant Livestock, sheep, horses and
ponies, had to be cancelled and all the other sections were held in the
Scotstown Complex. This is the second year in a row that the weather forced
the committee into this situation. However there was plenty of competition
inside and great fun too.
