Emy Belles Chairperson, Geraldine Watterson, launched the Autumn 2010 programme of
events for the group at the beginning of the opening night on Tuesday, Sept 21st.
In Emyvale Leisure Centre She encouraged all ladies and young girls to become members
and enjoy the exciting programme in store for this Autumn. She then asked the big
crowd of females to search under their seats and the one to find the spoon would
come forward and cut the ribbon on the 2010 Programme. The winner was Vera Smyth
and she was presented with a year’s free membership of the Emy Belles. Geraldine
then introduced Philomena Moriarty, Beauty Consultant, who was going to provide all
present with a session of Colour me Beautiful. Afterwards there was a feast of food
and refreshments. It looks that the Emy Belles will be busy and have big numbers
again this year.
