Truagh Sports Day 2010.

The rain stayed away, the sun shone, the crowds came out, the activity was plentiful, something for everyone, great band of willing helpers, clatter of constant helicopter flights, cheering children, adult applause, donkeys, pigs, goldfish, goats and dogs, strong men, golf putters, JCB masters, Bouncing castles, athletics, novelty races, paintballing, clay pigeon shoot, competitions, vintage displays, chatting, admiring, laughing, Fairy Liquid, plenty of water, Straw bales, penalty shoot out, Pat Meehan keeps us informed, men with radios, smell and great taste of burgers, ice cream for dessert, tired legs, satisfaction, money raised for the parish schools and the Special Needs. Well done to all. These are some of the things which spring to mind.

Did it go in?
