Juvenile AGM Tuesday, January 19th 2010.
The AGM for the Emyvale Juvenile Club was held in the Club Rooms at Tully on Tuesday, January 19th and while there was a good attendance it was still disappointing to see that so many, whose children benefit from the work of the club were not there. However there were enough committed people there to fill the positions on the committees, which ended as follows: Chair - Michael McCarron; Vice-Chair - Ciaran Boyle; Secretary - Paula Loughran; Assist-Sec - Seamus O’Neill; Juvenile Rep to Club Executive - Vincent McAnespie; Registrar - Genie McKenna; Youth Officer - Noel McKenna.
Tribute was paid to Mary McCaffrey who had completed six years as a very efficient Secretary and who now tales a break. Michael McCarron thanked everyone who helped with events and teams throughout the past year. There followed some discussion on the changes being brought in at Juvenile level within the county this year and some approved and some people had reservations. Bríd had a cup of tea ready for everyone at the end of the meeting. A full report of the AGM will be published in the Club notes next week.
