New Envelopes:

This week every adult listed in the parish census should have received new envelopes, accompanied by a financial statement for 2009.

While the greatest care has been taken to update the census on an on-going basis, inevitably their will be further adjustments necessary;

people come and go all the time; younger parishioners complete their full time education and join the work force.

If you didn’t get your new envelopes this week; if there is an error in your address; or if someone I your household or locality needs a

packet of envelopes do not hesitate to contact the parish office @ 88120.

Thanks to all parishioners for your continued support. And a special thanks to all who helped with the onerous task of distributing the

envelopes.

 

Parish Census:

During the coming year the parish census will be updated by sending a formal census sheet to every household. You may be assured that information on the parish census will be held in confidence; and never; under any circumstances, available to civil, commercial or

sporting bodies.

 

St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society:  

 Diocesan Meeting in St. Michael’s College, Enniskillen on Thursday 11th March at 8.00pm also Congress on Saturday 13th March in

St. Peter’s Cathedral and  Balmoral Hotel Belfast.   Check time of bus departure.

 

Emyvale GAA Club.   

Membership must be paid by the 21st March, 2010.   Membership of €20 to be paid to Anthony or Alice McCarron,

Community Alert Annual General Meeting

Will be held on Tuesday, 9th March at 8.30 pm at the Blackwater Valley Learning Centre. Nominations for position will be taken on the night.

 

Daffodil Day:

Friday 26th March next is Daffodil Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. We are endeavouring to organise a volunteer rota for the North Monaghan area. We need your help. Can you give a commitment to give one hour of your time in selling daffodils? Join in the fun and be party of our street sales team on Daffodil Day, in aid of this very worthy cause. Irish Wheelchair Association:

Annual church gate collection at all masses on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th March.

 

Monaghan Bereavement Support:

have invited Fr. Bryan Nolan, to talk on “Picking Up The Pieces” after loss in the Westenra Hotel, Monaghan Tuesday 9rh March at 8.00pm, everyone welcome, refreshments served, admission free.

 

Edenmore National School:

Invites you to an open/enrolment night on Wednesday March 10th 2010 from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, Edenmore welcomes all pupils, enquiries to 047 87618 – school.

opening soon on the same site as Edenmore National School providing a breakfast club and full afterschool service.
