New Boat Jetty At Emy Lake.
Fly-fishing class for U 16 year old youth was organised by Enda Fields of Emy and District Anglers on Saturday, July 25th from 10am to 12 noon. It was held at the the shore of Emy Lake and Matt Campbell and Eamon Conway from Dundalk were the instructors. It was a successful venture and more are planned.
Our photos show some of those involved in the Fly-Fishing class at Emy Lake last Saturday and to the left we see Martin McKenna with a beautiful 3¾ lb trout taken on Sunday evening last. Enda Fields also landed a 2½ lb trout on Saturday evening. So it is fishing fine. Tight lines everyone.
