Truagh Handball Awards 2011

On Saturday, October 15th, Truagh Handball Club organised a visit by the well-known and champion handballer, Michael ‘Ducksie’ Walsh from Kilkenny to St.Mellans. ‘Ducksie won his first championship title in 1977 in the U12 group and has amassed a huge collection of titles since then, including his fifth Masters Singles title in-a-row last week. He took a coaching session with a group of Truagh Juvenile Handballers for a couple of hours on Saturday before the presentation of prizes to the club winners of the past year.
