Congratulations

Congratulations to Brenda McAnespie on the documentary shown by TG4 on Sunday night last. It traced Brenda’s involvement with the GAA and her achievements to date. It was a great tribute to one who has given so much to the GAA and to the local communities. Brenda, never one to blow her own trumpet, has contributed to the life of the entire North Monaghan communities and now to the Aughnacloy region as well. One lovely thing came through very strongly and that was that ‘family came first and the football second’ which provided a good atmosphere in which to grow up and have a close family unit. Well done Brenda and all those who contributed to the programme. Well done also to the producers and researchers who presented the programme in a very warm and sensitive manner.
