Monaghan Players Honoured.

Two Monaghan Players, Eoin Lennon, Latton, and Darren Bishop, Cremartin, were named on the Ulster Club Football All-Stars selection which was announced at a special presentation in Quinn’s Corner, Ballygawley, on Tuesday evening.
Sponsored by the North West News Group, which publishes Gaelic Life, these awards are based on performances in the various county championships and the Ulster Club series at Junior, Intermediate and Senior in football, hurling as well as camogie.
Latton reached the semi-final of the Ulster Club Senior Championship while Cremartin contested the final of the Junior series before losing in controversial circumstances to Tyrone champions, Derrytresk. As well as the All-Stars selection there were also individual club award winners in football, hurling, camogie and Ladies football as well as an award for manager of the year in football, hurling and camogie.

Individual Winners:
Ulster Club Footballer of the Year – Aaron Cunningham (Crossmaglen).
Ulster Club Hurler of the Year – Ryan Gaffney (Middletown).
Ulster Young Club Footballer of the Year – Lee Moore (Craigbane).
Ulster Young Club Hurler of the Year – Conor Johnston (St. John’s)
Ulster Club Football Manager of the Year – Paul Hughes / Paul Canavan (Derrytresk).
Ulster Club Hurling Manager of the Year – P.J. O’Mullan (Loughiel).
Ulster Club Camogie Player of the Year – Emma Connolly (Loughiel).
Ulster Ladies Club Footballer of the Year – Eimear Teague (Sperrin Óg)
Crossmaglen dominate the All-Star selection with five players, Craigbane, who won the Intermediate club championship, have three representatives, Burren, who contested the senior club final have two, while Culloville, Roslea, Latton, Cremartin and Glenswilly have one each.
