The following Management Committee was elected:
Michael Liddle, Rev. Gary Roberts, Peadar McMahon, Paudie Donoghue, Pat Callery, Marion Donnelly, Alma Dudgeon, Laurence Clerkin, Roisin McKenna, Diane Kendrick, Seamus McCluskey, Paula McMahon, Monica McKernan, John McEntaggart.
Mr. Ian Donnelly has been employed to act as Surveyor and represent our interests.

We have co-opted Enda Fields, Sharon McCarron and Fergus Murray on to the Committee.

A public meeting was held in Emyvale Leisure Centre on Tuesday, January 15th 2002 to announce details of a new Enterprise Centre for Emyvale and to form a Management Committee to oversee the building and running of the Centre. 46 people attended and the meeting was addressed by Mr. Henry Brennan, representing the International Fund for Ireland, who have offered £250,000; Mr. John McEntaggart, Chief Executive Officer of Monaghan Enterprise Board; and Mr. Pat O'Brien, Ballybay Development Association, who have gone through the process. The meeting was hosted by Emyvale Development Association and chaired by Mr. Declan Nelson, Chairman of Monaghan Enterprise Board and Manager of Monaghan County Council.

On Monday, May 26th the builder moved on to the site and began work. We welcome Francis Haughey, the Contractor, and are looking forward to a successful completion of the project.

A Public Information Meeting was held on Thursday, June 5th at 8.30pm in the Scarna Inn to announce details. A good crowd attended.
