Kevin Donnelly Tournament 2018:
The late Kevin Donnelly was a great friend and a great coach/manager for Emyvale Ladies and his sudden death was a terrible blow to all involved with the Emyvale Ladies football and indeed the county game not to mention the horrific shock and loss to his family. In his memory the Emyvale Ladies organise a Blitz at U12 level each year and the 2018 event took place in Tully on Sunday, September 23rd. Sixteen teams took part in what was a great competition with powerful displays and plenty of fun. In the Cup final Carrickmore defeated Derrynoose and in the Shield Truagh had the upper hand over Scotstown. The Player of the Tournament went to Saoirse Gormley from the Carrickmore Club and the presentations were made by members of Kevin’s family. My thanks to Erin for the presentation photos.
