Strictly Dancing

Preparations have begun and the chosen feet have been registered and Lynn has taken control - or has she? Yes the practice sessions for ‘Strictly Dancing’ in the Truagh GFC have begun and the select dancers were gathered together for the first time. Lynn began work, and boy has she work in front of her!! Once they got the hang of forming a straight line things improved and secret talent began to appear and bodies with rhythm were taking shape. There are only a few short weeks before these feet are set to entertain and perform dance routines like Fred Astaires - I can foresee many groans and moans in the meantime.
We have a few photos to give you an idea of what lies ahead but one thing is sure - Fausto Lavery has a video that many would pay a fortune to see. We will do our best to keep you up to date with progress towards the big night in October.

I called in to a practice session to see how things were progressing and how the steps were coming along and boy-oh-boy are they going to be fit when this is over. Emyvale and Truagh mens and ladies teams will have new members as these dancers will be fit. There is no messing when Lynn is in charge and I broke out in a sweat just looking at them. OK I was sweating as I was laughing so much and trying not to let them see that but I am certainly looking forward to Dance Night. That is going to be one great night.
