Cycling Awards Night 2012

The cycling awards for achievements in 2012 were presented at a function in the Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan, on Saturday, February 11th. Everyone enjoyed a very tasty meal after which the presentations were made by Club sponsor Barry McKenna of new Holland tractors. Club chairman, Lawrence McAree, thanked everyone who helped the club during the past year and congratulated those who had brought honour to the club. He also thanked the ever increasing number of cyclists participating in the club activities and said that the future of the club looks set to prosper.
The prizewinners were:
 2011 Time Trial League

1st  Martin Sherry;  2nd – Patrick J McKenna;   3rd – Stephen Cassidy;   4th – Aidan McDonald; 5th – Dara McKenna;  6tth – Patrick Mulroe.
