County Athletics

The County Athletics Committee in conjunction with Glaslough Harriers held Road Races in Glaslough on Sunday, January 15th. It was a rather cold crisp Sunday afternoon and good crowds turned out. There was plenty of close contests in the various age groups which added to the excitement. In the Senior Race Caoimhin Kelly was a convincing winner with a very good second place for Patrick Murphy and Patrick Cassidy, Carrick Aces in third place. In the Ladies Helen McCrystal was the winner with Rebecca McKenna in second. The Jolly Joggers were out in force and all finished together after the 5K. Well done to all involved.
