The Cottage Fleadh 2012

Workshops in Music, Song and Dance were all part of the Cottage Fleadh held on Saturday, July 14th from 10.30 to 4.30 followed by an Evening Recital. The venue was The Cottage Bar at Moybridge, Emyvale, along the N2 at the border. This is the first time for this event which will be annual and it is being held in the memory of the late Declan Mohan, Aughnacloy.
The Saturday night Seisiun was a big hit and attracted a huge crowd and Sunday was fun day with big crowds once again. There were displays and activities going on all around the Cottage and young and older had a very enjoyable day.
The success of the event this year certainly indicates that this can be an annual affair and there is no doubt but that the good reports from this year will swell the crowds next year. Well done to all concerned.
