Basketball Club Quiz 2012

Donagh Basketball Club held its annual Table Quiz on Friday February 3rd in the Red Boys and there was a full house to soak up good companionship, good questions, good fun and a good challenge with a great atmosphere and the best of hospitality from the Red Boy and his staff. Well done to Paul Hamill, the excellent quizmaster, who threw in the odd trick to check that everyone was wide awake, though only the horse racing fraternity knew the difference. Well done to the workers on the night who ensured an enjoyable night for all. There was little in it at the end and it took a late flourish to get the winners over the line ahead of the second place finisher. Our photos show some of those present.

Note from Basketball Committee: Our Table Quiz in The Redboys on last Friday night was a sensational success.

The club would like to say thanks to all those that attended, there was a great crowd and a great atmosphere.

To all the sponsors, every round of questions had at least two sponsors each, we say thank you.

Thank you to all the people that donated spot prizes and supported financially, before, during and after the event.

Thank you to Peter and his staff, they were very attentive and very professional.

Finally thank you to the new quiz master Paul Hamill who stepped in to the breach and did a wonderful job.
