2011 Awards are Presented.

During the past weekend the Club Awards for 2011 were presented to the recipients with the majority presented at a function held in the Red Boys on Saturday Feb 18th. The Scor Award this year went to a man who has contributed to this aspect of the GAA for 40 years both as competitor, Fear-a-Tí and organiser and the Peggy McQuaid Memorial Shield was presented to Seamus McCluskey by Mary Kirke (nee McQuaid) and Enda Clerkin. Minor player of the Year went to Colin Hughes; U21 Player of the Year - Darren McKernan; Junior C Player of the Year to Ciaran McAree; Junior B to Emmet Colleran while the A Player of the Year award was won by Robbie McHugh. Well done to all the winners. There was also a gift presented to two couples who were married during the past year.
