" Help Daire reach for the stars!".

Despite the heavy rain all day and the coldness of the November night and the wet and soft underfoot conditions they turned out in their droves to support the Help Daire reach for the Stars. The donations will be counted and a presentation at a later date but it shows the generosity of people when so many turned out to participate in the walk/run. Well done to the Belles for organising the event and to all who helped. Kenny and Shelley were present and we were delighted to hear that he is a healthy strong little fellow apart from his physical condition which is unique to Ireland and efforts are being made to find a similar condition internationally so that the best possible treatment can be given. New parents will be glad, or envious, to hear that he sleeps from around 10pm until 5.30 or 6am. Our best wishes go to him and his parents and their families.
